What kind of contract types do you support?

We have three standard ways to collaborate, but are able to tailor an engagement to best meet your needs.

Time & Materials: Ideal for evolving initiatives, discovery work, or projects where scope may shift. You pay for the time and expertise you need, when you need it — giving you maximum flexibility as your strategy takes shape.
Fixed Scope: Great for well-defined projects with clear outcomes as well as product MVPs and discovery work. We align on scope, budget, and timeline upfront — giving you confidence and control over delivery, while we focus on execution.
Retainer Model: Best for ongoing support or advisory partnerships. With a dedicated monthly engagement, we integrate closely with your team to provide continuity, strategic input, and proactive evolution across key initiatives.

How long is the initial consultation call?

We typically reserve 1 hour to start; however, if we need more time we can always schedule a follow up also at no charge.

How long does an "Ideation" or "Discovery" engagement take to complete?

It all depends on what you need, it could be just a few days, but typically this type of engagement runs about 4 to 6 weeks. This is mainly because these require a good amount of involvement and collaboration form stakeholders and potential key users, but again, it all depends on what you have in mind. We will figure that our during our consultation call.

Do you have a minimum or maximum contract size requirement for accepting work?

No, although a lot depends on scheduleing. The earlier we have an idea of what you need, even if it is a rough idea, the easier it is to get things et up and ready to go.

We have an existing engineering team or vendor, will you work with them?

Of course! We are happy to step in and fill a strategic role that you might need. The most common roles we are able to fill are in the realm of Data Science & Stratgy, UI/UX and Product Design, Business Analysis and Product/Project Management.

Are you able to operate in a fractional role or as a retained advisor?

Absolutely. We are exceptionaly skilled in serving in an advisory role.

Do you offer training or coaching to teams adopting new technologies or processes?

We have actually led hundreds of training courses focusing on agile transformation and data strategy. If you provide us the details we can tell you if we are the right team to provide this support -if we are not we can certainly direct you to qualified training and program facilitators.

We can even facilitate improvement and transformation workshoips for you and your team.

Do yoiu use AI tools in the creation of solutions?

Fantastic question. The answer is yes, sometimes, but in a limited and pragmatic way. We heavily leverage AI for ideation and exploration, and we can show you how we use it to help you learn these tools too; however, we will never process your information without consent and never in an system that does not meet your data confidentiality and security requirements.

Are you comfortable working within our collaboration suite?

Yes, that is not problem at all, we have worked with many client collaboration tools. We are especially familiar with Jira, Confluence, and the full Atlassian suite, Microsoft Azure DevOps, ClickUp, GitHub as well as SharePoint, but we have also worked with many others.

Where are you located; do you support clients outside of your area?

We are located in the beautiful city of Greenville, South Carolina. We support clients from Charleston, Atlanta, and Charlotte in addition to our home city, but we can also easily support you wherever you are located. We are even able to support some international companies.
